We were asked to look at the The Laptop Lunches Bento System and see if we liked it. So when it arrived at Buttoned Up we gave it to someone who takes their lunch to work and who has kids who take their lunches to school to test it out.

They found that the system is great for using up your leftovers – simply pack it in the inner containers of the Laptop Lunches when you are putting the food away – and you have your lunch all ready for the next day. Plus it is ideal if you are on a diet or have a special diet, or have kids with fussy tastes.

The outer case looks like a laptop case and it comes with 5 inner containers that rest in a tray, and it even comes with its own set of stainless-steel utensils and a water bottle. One of the things our tester really loved is that there is no waste – no baggies to buy, no lunch bags to buy, nothing to throw away – everything is reusable, and can be run through the dishwasher! The product contains NO phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), or lead so it’s safe for your family. It’s small enough to fit in a locker, yet large enough to hold a balanced meal.

She also liked that the system also came with a comprehensive guide with lunch ideas, travel menus, with really fun and nutritious meals! She wasn’t crazy about the clasp, and was fearful that it would break easily, but it held up.
