Hollie

my advice:
Don’t get overwhelmed by your long list of to do’s. Ditch perfection and go after the most important things that have to get done.

my to-do list habits

I carry around with me a small lined notebook that I use to jot down all of my to-do’s, notes, and ideas. I write down my to do’s at the beginning of every week and star the items on the list that must get done first. Then, when I have finished a task, I love to boldly cross it off my list. When I do this, I feel like a small weight has been lifted off my shoulders and there is one less thing to think about that week.

a little about me

Hollie is a graduate of the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City where she majored in Communication Design with a strong emphasis in identity/corporate design and advertising. Prior to joining Buttoned Up, inc., she was employed part-time at Gianettino & Meredith Advertising Agency in Short Hills, NJ. She has been with Buttoned Up since its inception and has truly led the design direction of their entire product line.

She thrives off the idea of designing with ease of use in mind, and believes that there are many products in society today that make living everyday life more stressful, complicated, and confusing because they aren’t “designed with convenience for the user.” Instead, she notes, “our products are designed to actually make you want to get organized.”

Hollie currently lives with one roommate in Morristown, New Jersey. Her life right now is full of firsts (first job, first apartment, first car, first furniture purchases) and the organizational challenges that come with the territory. Fortunately, she’s naturally neat and meticulous about staying on top of her to-do’s, so she’s always cool, calm and collected.
