Now that I have your attention…!
If you curate an eBay collection between now and March 31, you’ll not only be contributing to a very good cause, but you’ll also have a chance to win a $5,000 eBay shopping spree.
I know what you’re probably thinking. Really? eBay?
That would have been my reaction a few months ago, too. I’d imagine the old hard-to-navigate, not-so-pretty website. But I can honestly say, the new eBay bears no resemblance to that old virtual bazaar.
eBay is now is more like Pinterest than an overcrowded shopping mall – beautiful to browse, full of fabulous finds, and fun to use.
A feature at the heart of its redesign are “collections.” Think of a collection like a pinboard for the items you’re interested in following and purchasing. You can create a collection of items you want to buy around a theme, like spring cleaning, summer fashion, or outdoor inspiration.
Even better, you can create a collection of goods you want to sell, too.
You have to love a platform that makes it easy to get rid of things for a profit as easily as it is to acquire new things.
