If a guest puts a glass down on a wood surface without a coaster & it leaves a ring, stress not. Make a paste out of salt and some cooking oil, like olive oil. Gently rub the paste onto the ring with a sponge and let it sit for a few minutes. Then wipe the paste away with a soft cloth and polish as usual.
