Review: DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo Dual Roll Label and Postage Printer for PC and Mac®

Review: DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo Dual Roll Label and Postage Printer for PC and Mac®

I was asked to try out the DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo and let our readers know what I thought of the product.

The product holds two rolls of labels so you can have two types of labels at the ready. And if you load up the LabelWriter with two rolls of the same type of label, once the first roll is out, it automatically switches to the second roll.

This is great for me as I ship out many of our products. I was able to print out the shipping label (had fun experimenting on different looks for the label) and can also print out the postage at the same time! The labels sizes are varied enough that you can use this little machine for a myriad of labels – including address labels with a bar code, shipping, file folder, name badges, multipurpose labels, and postage labels.
You can even put your logo on the label! Plus it was fast – and very quiet!

The 450 Twin Turbo is small, sleek and very lightweight. I put it up on a shelf and it looked cool! I could move it around without any effort at all – not many printers you can do that with! AND you never have to buy ink again! Seriously! The process is a thermal process that doesn’t use ink.

I started to think of all the ways we could use this LabelWriter – at a trade show, printing out mailing labels and badges right on site, creating file folder labels, labeling CD’s, product packaging for customers, all with our logo on it! Now don’t get me wrong, it is still a LabelWriter and you will still have to download software and register the product and buy your postage, but once that is out of the way, it’s very easy to use!

Here are more stats:
